Two days after Governor Akinwunmi Ambode expressed concern over the high rate of traffic robbery of Lagos state, he is doing something about it.

The governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode, has shown his determination to fight the high rate of traffic robbery by going on an early morning patrol with some of his security chiefs.

Governor Ambode took some of his security chiefs on an early morning patrol in Onikan.
This is probably because victims have complained that robbers attack during the early hours of the morning or night.
In light of this, the commissioner of police, Mr Fatai Owoseni, has deployed more police officers on the roads.

Also, the governor has promised to buy three helicopters as a means to fight traffic robbery and monitor traffic.
