The diver told reporters that she didn't know he [Kai] was going to propose and never thought she would get married so early in life.

Following the engagement between Brazilian Rugby player, Isadora Cerullo and Marhorie Enya at the Rio 2016 games another couple have followed suit.
Few minutes after Chinese diver, He Zi received her silver medal, her boyfriend of six years; Qin Kai went on one knee by the medal podium to propose.

Zi who appeared shocked, raised her hands to cover her mouth.
"We've been dating for over six years," He Zi told reporters.
"I didn't know that he would propose today, and I didn't expect that I would marry myself out so early.
"He (Qin) said a lot of things there at the podium. He made a lot of promises, but the thing that has touched me the most is that I think this is the guy I can trust for the rest of my life."

Kai, 25, who is also a diver in the Rio 2016 Olympics won a bronze medal in the men synchronised 3-meter springboard.
