"Should I marry her even though she has a child?"

Is it right to marry her despite the fact that she has a child who isn't mine?

Relationship Talk

Dear Bukky,

I am from Nairobi

I am 26 years old I have a girlfriend and we love each other so much but my girlfriend has a child who isn't mine.

She got pregnant by mistake which even surprised her too. The baby is for the guy who dated her for some months before I started dating her.

We've been in a relationship for almost 5 years now and I am planning to marry her. Is it right to marry her despite she has a child who isn't mine?

I need advice because I love her very much and she's one out of the ladies I have ever met who is trust worthy and she's open to me.

I love her but I fear maybe that kid might bring a problem in future. Should I just be with her?_______________

Hi reader,

Please just go ahead and marry that woman already. I see nothing wrong here.

If all you say is true, then I see nothing stopping you from being with her.

About the child; if you are willing to take care of him/her as yours, there shouldn’t be any problem. While you should have the willingness to take the child as if he were yours, you should also not stand in the way if his/her biological father tries to take him/her away.

There shouldn’t be a problem that way.

What matters most now is that you think the woman is ideal for you. If she thinks the same about you, I advise that you both go ahead and create happiness for yourselves._______________
