People like to exaggerate the badness life without a boo. They make it sound like the quality of one’s life is greatly poorer for it but even though relationships and being in love are fantastic, things are never as bad with single people as many would have you believe.
When you are done being single and finally decide to date and be in a relationship again, though, here are five adjustments you’ll likely struggle to make.
1. Freedom
You know how you could up and go at any time without having a bae or boo to explain to? Well, that goes when you dip your feet into the dating pool again.
2. Making plans
Going out on a weekend used to be easy and straightforward before, not anymore. Going on holidays and how to spend holidays used to be pretty easy before… not anymore.
When you begin to date again, you’ll have to factor in your partner in all of these conversations.
Being considerate is an unbendable, unavoidable relationship ideal.
3. Impatience
You might also need time to adjust to the feeling of having someone in your space, in your business again.
It will most likely feel weird and uncomfortable having to expose yourself and your emotions to someone again after going through all the motions alone for such a long time and you might find yourself fighting against it in the beginning.
