You'll relate with this if you have a girlfriend who makes a big deal out of everything

There are things that can be overlooked. But your partner doesn't know about such things.

Do you like someone who blows the littlest issues out of proportion? No? Neither do I, or anyone I or you know.

When you constantly make mountains out molehills, you make it difficult for people to deal with you, let alone someone who calls you partner.

People mess up all the time, and yeah, you are permitted to flip out when your partner does something you really don't like, but there are still some things that can be overlooked. Not everything should be made a fuss about.

So if you are with the type that makes everything look bigger than they actually are, here are the things you'll be all too familiar with

1. She expects superfast responses

Like, all the time.

It does not matter that you're busy at work, once you don't reply her messages in 10 minutes max, she loses your mind.

2. Takes criticism poorly

Every criticism is seen as an attack on her personality and not on the thing being talked about. She refuses to see wrong in the things she does, even though the complainant puts it in the most logical, reasonable and gentle manner possible.

3. She condemns little omissions

You go off for a weekend, comes back to relate events to you but missed out just a little [inconsequential] detail in your narration.

She puts aside everything you remembered to talk about and hammers on that little detail even though it means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

4. You have to tiptoe around her

Another thing that happens when your partner is this way is the constant need you feel to watch your steps around her.

The problem with this is that you could lose the spontaneity in your relationship and that's not so good. The humour may suffer as well as the the free-spiritedness and the comfort partners need to feel around each other.

5. Others see it, too

There's no smoke without fire. So if friends and family have pointed this out as well, then you surely know you're not the one overreacting for thinking.
