The event which held at the Omenka Gallery Ikoyi Lagos attracted art enthusiasts and gentlemen of the press alike.

The exhibition featured a collection of autobiographical works focusing on the artist's mother which he created over a 5-year period.

Through the works, Ohiri took the audience on an intimate journey of love, loss, regret as he invited the audience into the private space of a mother-son relationship while reminding us of its universal relevance.

The showcase was part of the British Council’s UK/Nigeria 2015–16 initiative aimed at building new audiences, creating new collaborations and strengthening relationships.
