Written by Ayo Jaiyesimi founder of THESPIAN Family Theatre & Productions is "Itan the story", a total theatre production with rich drama, music and a blend of cultural and contemporary dance which brings to the fore, the tension and misunderstanding that often exists between different age generations.

Using cultural and contemporary songs and dances, the play captures this modern day tensions and misunderstandings in relationships that often crop up between the different generations, highlighting the fact that life is a continuum.

While the older generation holds strongly to traditional attitudes and values, the younger ones believe in modernity and that the past is a farce that does not exist anymore making everyone live in a world of their own. And this disparity between both generations keeps them apart more often than not.

The question is, Can this gap even be bridged and should we even bother bridging the gap? Well, you decide.
