The shrimp verde is a quick and tasty recipe which combines olive oil, cheese, parsley and more, which can be eaten with a rice dish.

Tasty, easy to cook and very versatile, shrimps add a distinct sea food flavour to whatever meal they're added to.

What you need:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup Italian flat leaf parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
