The Golden Globes red carpet is known to be the junior level of style to the glamorous Academy awards but really both events are equally stylish and glamorous.

However, the Golden Globes permits the stars to be more casual or daring in their fashion and style decisions than the Academy Awards, which may or may not be due to the open-bar policy.
