Smartphone Company Launches in Nigeria

The launch held at Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos and was attended by a handful of guests and fans of many music lovers who were promised a grand show.

On Friday, October 10, 2014, new smartphone company undefinedheld a launch party to mark its official entry into the Nigerian market.

The launch held at Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos and was attended by a handful of guests and fans of many music lovers who were promised a grand show.

The event which had a huge pre-launch hype, promising guests to be thrilled with lives performances from Victor Olaiya Ebenezer Obey, 2face Idibia, Olamide, Pasuma, Saheed Osupa, Timaya and the Mavin Crew was marred, with none of the said acts attending the event.

Upcoming singer Tonye Garrick, signed to Tingo's sister company - record label Tingo Records got to perform on the night. Nigerian Pop singer Samklef also hit the stage to perform a few of his songs.

Guests also got to witness the unveiling of the company’s latest products – the Tingo F509 and G551 T5 Android smartphones which are currently selling in the market.
