Organizers unveil road map for Nigeria's 25 Under 25 Enterprising awards

The 25 Under 25 Entrepreneurs Awards is an annual award to recognize, celebrate and encourage some of Nigeria's most innovative entrepreneurs under the age of 25.

Promoters of youth entrepreneurship development platform; SME 100 Nigeria today unveiled the 25 under 25 Awards road map.

These was announced at the Press conference which held at the SME100 Nigeria office in Lekki, Lagos state.

The 25 Under 25 Entrepreneurs Awards is an annual award by SME 100 to recognize, celebrate and encourage some of Nigeria's most innovative entrepreneurs under the age of 25 across various categories. The goal of this award is to stimulate an entrepreneurial culture among our youths.

Speaking at the event were Executive Director, SME 100 Nigeria, Charles Odii; Director of Programmes, Brian Oji; Head of Corporate Communication Airtel Ng, Mr. Emeka Oparah; CEO Omar Gardens, Mimi Ade-Odiachi; Head Emerging Businesses Diamond Bank, Mr Mark Ifashe; and a recipient of the 2015/2016 edition of the award –Florence Otedola aka DJ Cuppy.

Mimi Ade-Odiachi commended SME 100 Nigeria for recognising hardworking young entrepreneurs under 25 and supporting them while Mr Mark Ifashe spoke on Diamond Bank’s commitment towards small businesses and entrepreneurs in Nigeria.

Florence Otedola (DJ Cuppy) said the award inspired her as an entrepreneur in the creative industry. She boldly proclaimed her status as a budding entrepreneur and possible mogul. She applauded SME100 Nigeria for inspiring young entrepreneurs and acknowledging the creativity in Nigeria.

The award is set to take place of Saturday, 26th August, 2017 at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos.
