After Abuja & Enugu, the final general audition took place on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the Classique events centre, in the city of Lagos.

The new VJ will be awarded with a two-year mouth watering contract worth N20 million and also become one of the key faces of the music network, hosting programmes on MTV Base. The winner will interview stars, host parties and concerts, walk the red carpet at entertainment events, and travel around the continent representing MTV Base.
The audition began at the NAF Conference Centre & Suites, Abuja on August 9, 2016 then to the coal city of Enugu on August 12, 2016 at De Dome before finally coming to the beautiful commercial capital of Nigeria, Lagos on August 16, 2016 at the Classique events centre, Oregun Ikeja.
Top media prsonalities and celebrities on the judges list includes; Osagie Alonge (Pulse.ng), Kaylah Oniwo (Cool FM), Osi Suave(Beat FM), Denrele Edun, Princess Abumere (Pulse.ng), Ayomide Tayo (Pulse.ng), and few others.

Other celebrities that showed up at the event to wish the contestants goodluck are Simi, Praiz, YCEE, Koker, Efa, Hypeman Jimmy, VJ Adams, Ehiz, and many more. On the wheels of steel was top Nigerian disc jockey, DJ TTB.
