Cecilia Ibru's Daughter, Vivi, In Divorce Mess

Vivi Ibru, the daughter of the former CEO of Oceanic Bank, Cecilia Ibru, is enmeshed in a messy divorce scandal.

Just as the matriarch of the larger Ibru family and former CEO of of the now defunct Oceanic Bank, Cecilia Ibru, is still grappling with the loss of her plum bank and trying to pick the pieces of her life, one of her daughters, Ayeverhuvwu Oduvesiri (Vivi) Ibru-Stankov, whose marriage to Aleksander Stankov in one of the most talked about society weddings in Lagos in 2006, is now a divorcee on account of the collapse of her once blossoming marriage.

This is on account of a messy divorce that rocked the marriage that produced three lovely children. The pretty and quiet Vivi who was once a director with the defunct bank, is now a single parent and is trying her best to take care of her children after 8 years of marriage.

Trouble started for Vivi and Aleksander when they decided to end their turbulent marriage due to what insiders describe as irreconcilable differences, in London but Aleksander had to come down to Nigeria to file for the divorce since the marriage was contracted in the country.

Though Vivi decided to fight the divorce proceedings initially, she has decided to grant her husband his wishes and has decided to move on with her life.

This much she admitted to Encomium Magazine recently:

Yes, we are divorced. The children are doing extremely well. They see their father on a reasonably regular basis. Things are peaceful.
