This young Christian man had to convert to Islam as his own way of celebrating the success of President Muhammadu Buhari in the March 28 poll.

Chukwuma Austin Dike

The presidential success of now President Muhammadu Buhari on March 28, 2015, must have robbed off on most Nigerians as many came up with different patterns to celebrate him.

While some embarked on long and tortuous foot journey from one point to another to show their solidarity, one youth corps member decided to do something different: by changing his religion.

The young Igbo man, Chukwuma Austin Dike, from Mbaitoli local government area of Imo State serving in Konshisha local government of Benue State, actually converted from Christianity to Islam after he had made the promise to his friends and fellow corps members to change his allegiance to embrace Islam if Buhari won the election.

So on Friday, May 29, the day the president was sworn in, Dike went to the Jibwisb Mosque in Gboko, and converted to Islam.
