Nigerian woman gang raped in India

The Nigerian lady was found unconscious in Mayur Vihar area in New Delhi around 2.43 am on Friday, February 21.

Rape is the fourth most common crime in India, and now a Nigerian woman is allegedly a victim.

A 35-year-old Nigerian woman with a tourist visa was allegedly gang raped in a moving car in India.

According to the Times of India, police have arrested four suspects aged 22-25 in connection to the rape.

According to test, she was found she was under the influence of alcohol.

Police received a  call from a passer-by who saw the woman being raped in a moving car.

The Nigerian woman who was not named did not know any of the men arrested for the crime.

She was said to have boarded the car outside a mall in South Delhi the previous day and was afterwards ganged raped by the men who took turns on her before dumping her unconscious body on the road.

Deepak, Rakesh, Johnson and Sunny were arrested on Friday afternoon and charged under Section 376 (g) (gangrape) of the IPC by Mayur Vihar police.

A 28-year-old  disabled woman was also in India.
