1. Asake - Yoga

After dominating last year, the music icon from Asake of YBNL, and Empire Music is back with a brand-new song. He once more uses Magicsticks, a friend and producer, for the heavenly song 'Yoga,' which incorporates fuji elements.

2. Joeboy - Body & Soul

Nigerian music icon Joeboy recently dropped a new song titled "Body & Soul." Prior to the release of his sophomore album in the first three months of 2023, the single is his first offering of the year. The visualizer currently has over 1.5 million views on Youtube.

3. Minz - WOWO remix feat BNXN & Blaqbonez

For the remix of his song 'WOWO.' Nigerian rising star, Minz taps BNXN and Blaqbonez. The record is surely one of the top 10 Nigerian songs released in January 2023.

5. Pawzz - Koma

Born David Tokuma Dekor in 2002, Pawzz is an afro-fusion star from Benue state who creates his own distinct sound by fusing R&B, Amapiano, Afro-rap, and the funky percussion sounds of Afrobeats. He also performs as a drummer, songwriter, rapper, and singer.

6. Boy Spyce - Folake

The song 'Folake' is about a young boy who is madly in love with a girl who ends up getting killed because she wouldn't give other guys a chance. She is accused of being wayward, but her love interest is unfazed, stating that he still loves and wants to be with her despite what is being said about her.

Neville Records artist, Khaid starts the year with a beautiful tunen 'Jolie.' The song is currently one of the of the most streamed new songs on Apple Music and Audiomack and has over 69,000 lyric video views. It is definitely one of the best Nigerian songs released in January 2023.

8. Phyno & Olamide - Ojemba

Nigerian superstar, 1da Banton starts the year (2023) with sagacity and positive energy as he rolls out a sizzling new single entitled 'Call Jehova'.

L.A.X returns with an Amapiano hit on which he delivers his sticky lines and swaggering delivery that aims to drive listeners into a moshpit.
