"Humanimals'' by Villy and The Xtreme Volumes amplifies the voice of the frustrated African

A befitting musically fired protest against political, religious and basic corruption in Africa sums up "Humanimals".

EP - HumanimalsArtiste - Villy and The Xtreme VolumesRecord Label - Blank Creation Entertainment (2016)Duration - 32 minutes

Afro-fusion group Villy and The Xtreme Volumes speak the voice of the average African demanding for a more responsible government in this new EP “Humanimals”.

Very relatable stories carved out from real life experiences  by the Nigerian and safe to say the deprived and frustrated African, Villy and the Xtremes  tell the stories on beautiful instruments.

How this also has translated into the general perception of the foreign world  towards the common African man such as difficulty with Nigerians being issued visas is depicted in this project.

Metaphorical expressions are well executed by the group to convey the grievances of the citizenry rather passionately.

The production quality of this 6-track playlist is brilliantly top-notch, the eclectic use of local and foreign music instruments on the wings of which the emotionally and socially driven message by Villy and his Xtreme group is carried makes this EP a very well rounded listen.
