Wezi – ‘Nthenda’ ft Jay Rox

Zambian singer Wezi collaborates with producer and rapper Jay Rox on a new song titled ‘Nthenda’.

The soulful tune sheds light on abusive relationships and domestic violence.

“Nthenda”, when translated to English from the singer’s native language means disease. The song written by Wezi was inspired by the true-life story of someone close to her.

The singer began her music career professionally in 2012. Her first single titled ‘Ambuya was released in 2013. Her music has been described as afro-soul.
