Raised in Lagos, Nigeria, the rapper  received major recognition from the mixtape “JoulesDaKid – LazyGNius” (2010) and the single, ‘Aunty Dupe’ (2012) when he signed with Born Kings Management.

JoulesDaKidfeatured as the only guest artist on "Trash Can" EP an extended play by Nigerian rapper Ice Prince.

The EP features acts such as DJ Juls, Efya, Illkeyz, Ajebutter 22 among others.
