Popular stand up comedian Basket Mouth will co-host this year's edition of The Headies. The humour merchant was brought in to replace fellow stand up act Bovi who pulled out.
Bovi pulled out of the annual music ceremony because of a clash in the date. The comedian is scheduled to perform at an event which takes place on the same day as the Headies- December 14, 2014 (today).
Basket Mouth will replace Bovi as co-host. Popular OAP Toke Makinwa is still the co-host of The Headies 2014. The two celebs will anchor arguably the most glamorous night in Nigeria's music industry.
This is the second time Basket Mouth will co-host The Headies. His first stab at the job was in 2008 when he co-hosted with actress Dakore Akande.
The Headies 2014 is going down today at the Eko Hotel and Suites. Pulse Music will be blogging the night's event live and announcing the winners in real time.
