10 new songs you need to listen to

Illbliss - 'It is God'

A tweet on Tuesday, July 31 by rapper, Illbliss painted the picture of an experience with the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), the unit who have been in the news lately for some of their activities.

Then he released the single 'It is God', the following day, which grippingly captures how resigned Nigerians are to fate, as he says, ''You listen to your younger friend narrate his ordeal with police - SARS and you think that could have been you.''

The controversy that has followed his statement that the initial tweet was not a personal experience, but him just putting out lyrics from his song, should not in anyway downplay the powerful message, that the song engineered by Tha Suspekt carries.

Daramola - 'Heartbreak Please'

Talented singer/producer Daramola returns with this love joint he calls 'Heartbreak Please'.

The soulful artist whose project 'The Last Time I Tried' (T.L.T.I.T) enjoyed a fair amount of success with songs like Lotto enjoying radio spins pleads for heartbreak to stay far away from him and his lover on the new release.

Fybeez - 'Miss You' feat. Dice Ailes

Malaysian based Nigerian duo of Lucas T and Okafor Hope, together known as Fybeez team up with Chocolate City's Dice Ailes on this one they call 'Miss You'.

'Miss You' is as breezy at it is enjoyable, finds the right tune to keep the melody going and make for a pleasant listen.
