Mark Wahlberg returns as Cade Yeager in 1st trailer

Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for "Transformers: The Last Knight."

The upcoming American science fiction is directed by Michael Bay and stars Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci reprising their roles from "Age of Extinction," alongside Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, and John Turturro.

"Transformers" is a series of American science fiction action films directed by Michael Bay, and based on the toys created by Hasbro and Tomy.

The already released 1st four movies in the franchise, has grossed almost $3.8billion worldwide.

In 2007, "Transformers’' was the 45th highest grossing film, and the fifth highest grossing film of the year, grossing approximately $709 million worldwide.

In 2009, its sequel "Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen" grossed more than it’s prequel, despite its negative reviews.

In 2011, was released, and went on to gross over $1 billion, despite receiving mixed reviews.

In 2014, the 4th film in franchise 'Transformers: Age of Extinction" was released, and also grossed over $1 billion, bringing in in $320 million just from China.

Written by Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and Ken Nolan, "Transformers: The Last Knight" will be the fifth and final Transformers film to be directed by Bay and will debut on June 23, 2017.
