Whoopi Goldberg joins Kevin Spacey at the 71st edition of ceremony

Another big winner of the night were two different “Hello, Dolly!” and “Dear Evan Hansen”  that carted away several plaques.

Hosted by Kevin Spacey, the ceremony marked a big night for Ben Platt and Laurie Metcalf who won Best Performance by an Actor and Actress in a Leading Role in a Play respectively.

While “Dear Evan Hansen” won the big prize for best musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score, “Hello, Dolly!” won lead actress and best revival of a musical.

Other big winners of the night include “Oslo” for best play and “August Wilson’s Jitney” for best revival of a play.
