Remembering Genevieve Nnaji as "Sharon Stone" 14 years ago

What do you remember about the 2002 movie "Sharon Stone," which starred Genevieve Nnaji?

It is Thursday and we are throwing it back to one of the most popular Nollywood movies ever, "Sharon Stone."

It has been 14 years since Nigerians got to watch one of their favourite actresses of all time as the title character.

In 2002, the memorable movie was produced by Louis Isikaku and directed by Adim Williams.

It starred Genevieve Nnaji as the title character; a role that earned her popularity for years and also further shot her into the limelight.

The movie also starred Funke Akindele as Dupe. While fans remember watching Akindele in "I Need to Know" and "Jenifa," very few of her fans remember watching her in the classic.

"Sharon Stone" was a star-studded one. It starred Nnaji and Akindele alongside Steph Nora-Okere, Kunle Coker, Peter Bruno, Emeka Enyiocha, Charles Okocha among others.

After the movie "Sharon Stone," a second part was released. The movie was concluded with a third one titled "Sharon Stone in Abuja."
