The premiere episode kicked off with an opening performance of  "Implication" by the above mentioned coaches.

Following its debut, Nigerians took to Twitter to share their thoughts. According to popular Nigerian filmmaker, the show has 'fantastic production values,' with overtly syrupy and judges - over effusive in almost childish proportions.
