Omoni Oboli set to take movie to UK

Nigerian filmmaker, Omoni Oboli, is set to take her much talked about movie 'The First Lady' across Africa.

 

Omoni Oboli recently announced that she would be having a for her comedy movie undefined

The actress who recently undefined, will be taking the movie to UK on November 27, 2015.

Oboli took to her Instagram page to share the news;

"UK are you ready for ?!! I can't wait!!! We are heading your way soon!  do you think they are ready for us?

I can't sit still!  Get ready to laugh till you drop! Tag a friend that lives in the UK. Don't forget that  is still showing in Cinemas Nationwide in Nigeria! ", she wrote.

Starring Oboli as Michelle, and Alexx Ekubo as Obama, the movie also stars Chinedu Ikedieze, Joseph Benjamin, Yvonne Jegede, Udoka Oyeka and Tony Monjaro, and is directed and produced by Omoni Oboli.

Plot.

In a classic Cinderella like story, a prostitute, Michelle, is stuck in a world she couldn't escape from. Her hope that one day a Prince Charming would rescue her from it all, seems lost .

A heir to an empire, Kenechi, is transformed into a child by an overly ambitious uncle who wants the empire to himself.

Bound by a shared destiny, Michelle finds that she might be doing the rescuing until she realises there's no escaping her pimp (Obama), who would do anything to keep her as his First Lady.
