Here's a breakdown of the synopsis:

The Turtles come into conflict with several adversaries including: T.C.R.I. scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman, the Foot Clan and their enemy, The Shredder, who has hired Stockman to create mutants of their own in the form of Bebop and Rocksteady. There is also an invasion above New York City led by a being of Dimension X known as Krang. To prevent the end of the world, the Turtles and their human friends April O'Neil and Vern Fenwick come to the aid with vigilante Casey Jones.

It also stars World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Star Sheamus as Rocksteady, Gary Anthony Williams as Bebop and Brittany Ishibashi as Karai.

Directed by David Green, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" 2 has June 3, 2016 as its release date.

The original film which was directed by Jonathan Liebesman,  grossed over $485 million at the worldwide box office.
