Lucy Hale confirms show is ending with season 7

Lucy Hale, who plays Aria in "Pretty Little Liars," has confirmed that the show will end after its 7th season, also reveals the kind of ending she wants.

While you are awaiting a happy ending for Lucy Hale, who plays Aria on show is interested in a tragic ending.

The actress revealed this on the Late Late Show with James Corden, where she also confirmed that the show will end after it's seventh season.

"It is ending [after next season]," Hale says. "We've been doing it for six years. I've literally spent my 20s on the show, and I think all good things must come to an end."

"I used to say I wanted the show to end [with the girls] walking away in the sunset, they're all happy, living an A-free life, no drama, right? But I don't, I want it to end really tragically."

Set in the small town of Rosewood, the series follows the lives of four girls, Spencer Hastings, Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin, and Emily Fields, whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their leader, Alison DiLaurentis.

One year later, the estranged friends are reunited as they begin receiving messages from a mysterious figure named "A" who threatens to expose their deepest secrets, including ones they thought only Alison knew.

At first, they think it's Alison herself, but after her body is found, the girls realize that someone else is planning on ruining their lives.
