Netflix greenlights production of 'Chief Daddy' sequel

The upcoming sequel will be directed by Niyi Akinmolayan.

 A 'Chief Daddy' sequel is officially in the works [Ebonylifefilms]

Mo Abudu made the exciting announcement via Instagram on Thursday, July 30. She shared: "Good morning beautiful people ❤️❤️❤️.⁣ I did promise you loads of exciting announcements in July, and in keeping with that promise, I have one more announcement to make before we end July...I am pleased to announce that EBONYLIFE FILMS, the Creators and Producers of Chief Daddy in Partnership with NETFLIX will be bringing you CHIEF DADDY 2 !!!⁣"

The media mogul also revealed that the sequel which will be directed by Niyi Akinmolayan ('The Wedding Party 2', 'Chief Daddy') will be available on Netflix in 2021. Its star-studded cast including Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwo, Joke Silva, Kate Henshaw, Funke Akindele among others will also reportedly make a come back.
