It's Flavour against Maps Maponyane in episode 2

As Lip Sync Battle Africa enters its second week, Flavour and South African TV personality are the latest celebrities to battle it out.

Flavour on episode 2 of Lip Sync Battle Africa

The duo will clash in a sizzling on-screen confrontation in front of millions of TV viewers across Africa,  dissing each other in comic mockery.

After lip syncing (or miming) to two songs of their choice, just one of them will lift the Lip Sync Battle trophy.

Commenting on his appearance in the upcoming episode, Flavour said " "It was a great to be a part of  and it was awesome how we added our African flair to it all. The experience couldn't have been better; it was dope to step out of my comfort zone and do those kind of performances, and even better in front of a crowd to feed off.  was a tough competitor as he is such a big music star across Africa, but I just opted to try and compete, by talking a big game. All-in-all, we both had a really good time."

Viewers can also be part of the #LSBChallenge by uploading their own personal lip sync of D’banj’s “Emergency”, Davido’s “The Sound,” and Yemi Alade’s “Johnny” on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag #LSBChallenge.

Episode 2 of Lip Sync Battle Africa airs on  on Saturday, May 7, at 18:00 WAT.
