The most expensive death on "Game of Thrones" has been revealed and it isn't what you were expecting.

You would think that the most expensive death on "Game of Thrones" would have something to do with the Red Wedding or even White Walkers.

According to Uproxx, showrunners Dan Weiss and David Benioff revealed the most expensive death on the show, during a panel at SXSW.

According to the duo, the most expensive death occurred during the season 5 finale when Arya Stark killed Meryn Trant, a member of the King's Guard.

When asked why the scene was so expensive, Benioff replied, “She couldn’t really poke out his eyes”.

After a long wait, it was recently confirmed that the seventh season of "Game of Thrones" will return on July 16, 2017.

Unlike past seasons which had 10 episodes, the upcoming season will have seven episodes, while the eighth which is expected to be the final season will have six episodes.
