Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

An upcoming fantasy drama film inspired by J. K. Rowling's book of same name, and a spin-off of the Harry Potter film series, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" stars Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander.

The upcoming film is being produced by David Heyman, who produced all eight of 'Harry Potter' films. Others on the producers list include J.K Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"also stars Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Jenn Murray, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Gemma Chan and Faith Wood-Blagrove.

Principal photography on the film commenced on August 17, 2015, at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden.

The anticipated prequel is set for a worldwide release in 3D and IMAX on November 18, 2016.

In October 2014, the studio announced the film as "at least" a trilogy. The second installment is set to be released on November 16, 2018, followed by the third installment on November 20, 2020.
