Meet the new co-hosts of TV show

53 Extra has revealed new co-hosts for its new season on Africa Magic Urban.

53 Exra got a new look with new co-hosts

Following the continent-wide search for new hosts in April, Torera Elizabeth Ebun Olaiya, Eku Edewor, Mawuli Gavor and Amira Ibrahim-Alfa have been unveiled as hosts for this new season.

Popularly known as ‘Tora,’ Torera Elizabeth Ebun is a British born Nigerian. A trained broadcaster from UK institutions with qualifications in TV and radio production, she also boasts a diploma in music technology and a degree in music business Management & Marketing.

The only man on the team, Mawuli Gavor is a Ghanaian born TV presenter, actor, producer and entrepreneur.

He graduated with a degree in Business Management & Finance from Pennsylvania, beginning his professional career as an accountant before he became an ambassador for Martini in Ghana and Nigeria.

He is popular for movies and TV series including "Devil in the Detail," "One More Day," "A Place Called Happy," "Hush," "African City" among others.

One of the pioneer hosts of 53 Extra, Eku Edewor has been on the show for six years and counting.

The British Nigerian presenter has also hosted other shows including Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards red carpet.

Amira Ibrahim-Alfa holds a Masters degree in Theatre Arts from Middlesex University London, UK and a BA degree in Advertising from the University of the Arts London (LCC).

She has worked on various TV and magazine projects including a shoot for FinAfrik designs.

She also hosted the Red Carpets for the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2016. She also served as a Judge on the Miss Ideal Nigeria Pageant 2016, the Miss Tourism Nigeria 2017 and the Face of Africa Fashion Week Nigeria and London 2017.

53 Extra has served as a spring board for many talented individuals who have also carved their own paths in other areas of entertainment.
