Speaking to the mag about fame, the 23-year-old says she's spent more than half her life in the spotlight with people telling her what to be or do but that's not her any more.

"I didn't have an opportunity to figure out my life without people having an opinion every step of the way," she said.  "I chose this. So I'm not gonna sit here and say, 'Oh, my God, poor me. I didn't have a normal childhood. I don't give a f*** about that."

The 'Hands to Myself' singer certainly isn't complaining about her being the queen of Instagram either!
