Singer assaulted by police for using a hoverboard

May D claims that a tear gas was used on him, and a gun was pointed at him also.

 

Pop singer May D was reportedly assaulted by the police at the Ikeja City Mall for allegedly using a hoverboard recently.

The 'Ibadi' singer tweeted about the incident yesterday (August 27). May D claims that a tear gas was used on him, and a gun was pointed at him also. The pop act now plans to sue Ikeja City Mall for the alleged assault.

A hoverboard known as a mini segway scooter is one of the hottest items in pop culture right now. Wizkid was the first Nigerian artiste to use it after he was introduced to it by Chris Brown. Davido attended a press conference using the segway.
