Although the hip-hop recording artiste and Capital Hill boss, later apologized, saying that he was sorry for the choice of his words, and that the tweep was entitled to his opinions, he was called out by fans on social media.
The rapper then took to Instagram today, May 9, 2016 to apologize to fans who feel offended by his manner.
He wrote, "I place a huge premium on the Fans and respect the critics (constructive or destructive) but let's be clear... I will always support an upcoming act no matter how crappy the talent may be today but some times when I can't, the same polite requests for support turn abusive and psychotic ! If you know iLLY well, you would know that reaction was Different.. Apologies tendered. I remain a role model and an exemplary artiste BUT be mindful of the words you say to artists just to get their attention or reaction.. We are public Figures and must never React, (ironically)Now can we get back to the Music... Bless.. #Ayakata #OgaBoSS."
