"Why do people always wait for last-minute before running to safety. Russia being threatening Ukraine for weeks now and most foreigners didn't think it's wise to go back to their countries," she wrote.

"Everywhere is hot in Ukraine right now and they are running to the airport and train stations to do what exactly, please?"

"I feel like it's good to take the necessary steps while you still can than waiting till the dying minute before realising you need to move. It's common sense."

Meanwhile, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Ukraine chapter, has written a letter to President Muhammadu Buhari requesting for the immediate evacuation of Nigerian students currently trapped in the country.
