The official added management of the institute had promised to assist her, being a staff of its Abuja branch.

"The management had granted her permission to go for treatment and had also promised her some financial assistance before she died," the official added.

Unfortunately, the help did not come before she died.

Members of staff of the institute have arranged to take her corpse to a public mortuary because “LASUTH by its policy will not accept the corpse of a patient that did not die in the hospital.”
