New reports revealed that 106 workers of the University Staff schools in Nigeria have been let go by the Federal Government.

DailyPost reported that 76 members from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, Osun State were also said to be on the waiting list for disengagement.

This development was confirmed yesterday, May 19 at the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU's ongoing NEC meeting.

The meeting took place at the Michael Imoudu National Institute for a labour Studies, MINILS, Ilorin, Kwara State.
