During the burial service in Abuja, the representative of President Buhari, Babachir David Lawal, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, swore to find these killers.

"As a government, we want to inform you that all the perpetrators of this act will not go free and will be brought to book. All Nigerians should be safe and free to practice their religion anywhere.

Government’s resolve is to fish out the perpetrators. We pray to God not only to forgive them, but pray that the perpetrators seek for repentance.

On behalf of the President and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, may God console you," he said.

Olawale was slain by these killers on Saturday (July 9, 2016), during an evangelism outing.

The 41-year-old was found dead, in a pool of her blood, along with a Bible and megaphone.

She is survived by her husband, Elisha, 15-year-old daughter, Jessica, and other children.
