A soldier with 3 Battalion, Effurun Delta state, is now being detained by his command for disciplinary actions after he allegedly maltreated a pastor unjustly and shaved his hair with razor.
The Nation reports that the accused soldier was one of those stationed to guard a check point on Alegbor Road, Effurun.
The soldier allegedly stopped a tricycle popularly known as Keke which was carrying a clergy, Felix Omas, the general overseer of Tower of Faith Ministry.
Rev. Omas narrating his ordeal said when the tricycle conveying him got to the checkpoint, one of the soldiers asked him to come down, sat him on bare floor and procured a razor with which he shaved his hair.
The pastor said he had no choice but to obey especially as his molester had a gun ready with which he threatened to shoot him.
Speaking to the Warri Correspondent Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Rev. Omas said:
It was gathered that the accused soldier has since been arrested, detained and would be charged for improper conduct.
