Award-winning Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz has confirmed that he has acquired his own helicopter days after making millions at Kasarani Stadium during the Azimio la Umoja finally rally.

The WCB Wasafi President who is currently in South Africa shared the good news via his social pages.

“God is Good, I bought me a helicopter today," an excited Diamond Platnumz announced.

In an interview with&nbsp;DW Africa,&nbsp;Chibu Dangote got into personal details of his life, discussing his relationship status and his latest acquisition, a private jet.

“Sometimes for someone like me who came from the streets, when you buy a car worth like $1,000,000. What for? You have to do that, if not they will never value you, someone else will look like he is the real deal and you are not. In fact, I have just bought a private jet,”&nbsp;Diamond disclosed.

In May 2022, the&nbsp;Jeje&nbsp;hitmaker revealed that plans were underway to acquire his private jet, and with his recent statement, that has already happened.

Chibu Dangote is one of the biggest musicians across the African continent with his roots extending to the international market.

Just the other day, Chibu Dangote made over $100,000 (Shs 11,921,230.00) for his 10-minute performance at Kasarani.

This translates to about&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/entertainment/celebrities/how-diamond-negotiated-sh119-million-for-10-minute-performance/smj07z1">Sh1.2 million&nbsp;per minute, for the Tanzanian superstar who has recently achieved global fame.</a>

“I was contracted to perform here in Tanzania on the 7th and I was supposed to be in Uganda on the 6th and I said it’s nice to say hello to my people in Tanzania.

"I had a good time in Uganda…The connecting flight from Kenya to Dar es Salaam left and I was left stranded for over 8 hours.

“We landed in Dar around midnight and when we touched down we realized the airline forgot our luggages in Nairobi alongside some of the equipment we needed for the performance,” Kizz explained the genesis of his tribulations.

The singer sought to clarify that he was not arrested as it was widely reported – only taken in by police for questioning.

“The law caught involved due to the vandalism that was witnessed at the venue… the police came by my hotel room to take me in for questioning, (It was not an arrest by the way), on how my name keeps coming up in the destructions of the property,” Kizz remarked.

Kizz Daniel confirmed that he will be doing another show on Friday to compensate the fans who had paid for the August 7, concert.

“I sat down with organizers and decided that the show must go on. We came to an agreement to put up a show on Friday.&nbsp;A free show. I must also apologize to the fans, none of this was intentional, I love my job and I love performing. I did not intent to disappoint my fans. I wanted to perform, I came to Tanzania to perform but the circumstances were over my power and we could not make that happen. I apologize to the people of Tanzania and I hope you guys give me another chance you give you another proper show,” Kizz promised.

In a statement,&nbsp;Str8up Vibes,&nbsp;who are the organizers of the event apologized to their customers (fans) over the unfortunate event.

Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz has been forced to re-edit his Apple music profile, after a section of Nigerians attacked him for throwing shade at their stars Burna Boy and Wizkid.

The <a href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/entertainment/diamond-platnumz-makes-history-as-he-clocks-1-billion-views-on-youtube/fbbcwkz">WCB Wasafi President</a> raised eyebrows after insinuating that Wizkid’s career was boosted by Drake while Burna Boy was elevated in the music industry by legendary US star P-Diddy.

In reference to his 2020 success as the first artiste to clock 1 billion views on YouTube in the whole of Sub-Saharan Africa, Chibu Dangote appeared braggish, attracting backlash from Nigerians.

“In 2020, he became the first sub-Saharan African artiste with more than 1 billion videos views, leaping ahead of such stars as Davido, Drake-boosted Wizkid, and P-Diddy protégé Burna Boy,” reads part of the Bio that elicited mixed reactions.

The backlash ignited by the singer’s action forced him to make changes to his Apple Music rofile.

“In 2020, he became the first sub-Saharan African artiste with more than 1 billion videos views,” reads the edited version of the Bio.

It's not yet clear if the controversial profile was authored Diamond himself or somebody in his team.

On June 10th, 2020, the Jeje maker became the first artiste in Sub-Saharan Africa to garner over&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/entertainment/diamond-platnumz-makes-history-as-he-clocks-1-billion-views-on-youtube/fbbcwkz">1 Billion views on his YouTube Channel since it was started in 2011.</a>&nbsp;Now that channel has over 1,795,143,100 views.

Diamond also became the most followed artist on Instagram in the whole of East Africa after clocking 14.6 Million followers.

According to an official statement from Universal Music Group (UMG), they are planning on launching a strategic division in Nigeria and that’s why they are signing more Africans to the Label.

This new strategic division, will operate from a new office in Lagos, under the leadership of seasoned music executive Ezegozie Eze Jr., who has been named General Manager of Universal Music Nigeria.

Eze and his team will support artists from Nigeria, Ghana, and Gambia throughout the continent and beyond, utilizing Universal Music Group’s global networks for wider discovery, marketing, promotion and distribution.

Eze, has previously held roles at Channel O Television, Empire Mates Entertainment (Banky W &amp; WizKid) and was a founder of Pan-African creative companies, Republic 54, Alore Group, and Duma Collective.
