It seems shots have been fired at the CEO of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy. This morning, hot rapper Yung 6ix took to his Instagram page to sub the multiple award winning producer.

In a meme featuring Kermit the Frog sipping Lipton which went viral a few months ago, Yung 6ix wrote "Don Jazzy Be Forming Like He Ain't Heard Yung 6ix '' Yet. Oh Well! But That's None Of My Business." In the caption below the picture he said "Lmfao DOINZ."

There seems to be no apparent reason why Yung 6ix is taking shots at Don Jazzy. Maybe he is trying to get his attention or maybe the Mavin boss isn't feeling the young upstart. On the other hand this might be a publicity stunt to promote his latest single 'Doinz'.

This isn't the first time Yung6ix has whipped up controversy to push a new song. On August 31, 2013 Yung 6ix raised a storm in the rap game when he declared himself the best Nigerian rapper via his Twitter account. Shortly after the drama he released a new single aptly called 'One Tweet' which featured on his debut album '6' O Clock'.

While Don Jazzy has produced hits for rappers such as Ikechukwu, Mode 9 and Sinzu, he has had a love/hate relationship with rap. In February 2012, a Don Jazzy interview from Hip Hop World Magazine got negative attention for his remarks about rappers in Nigeria and their lack of mainstream success. Several rappers angrily replied the producer. With the unwanted attention, Don Jazzy issued an apology.
