Europa League: Wilfred Ndidi leads Leicester City players as they arrive in Italy for Osimhen's Napoli [Photos]

Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was among the Leicester City delegation that arrived in Naples on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.

Ndidi and his Leicester City teammates will face off against Italian Serie A giants Napoli in an Europa League fixture scheduled for Thursday, December 9, 2021.

The Premier League outfit are top of the group while Napoli sits third with seven points.

Russian side Spartak Moscow are second also with seven points and travel to face Polish Legia Warszawa in the other group fixture.

Both Leicester City and Napoli will be hoping for a positive result when they clash at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

In the first leg clash between the two sides at the King Power Stadium, there was a lot of Nigerian flavor.

Three Super Eagles players all participated in a game that ended in a 2-2 draw.

Victor Osimhen scored both goals for Napoli, Ndidi received a red card while Kelechi Iheanacho provided an assist for Leicester City.

Ndidi and his Leicester City take on Napoli with the aim of making the Europa League knockout stages for the second season in a row.
