UK Athletics' Performance Oversight Group (POG) has found nothing to suggest wrongdoing from Mo Farah or the Oregon Project after coach Alberto Salazar was accused of doping.

A BBC investigation in June claimed that both Salazar and Farah's training partner Galen Rupp - who won Olympic 10,000 metre silver behind the Brit in 2012 - had been involved in doping practices.

Farah was not accused of doping as part in the investigation, while Salazar and Rupp have strenuously denied all allegations.

In the aftermath of the programme, Farah was later reported to have missed two drugs tests in the build-up to the London Games.

Farah described these oversights as "simple mistakes" that "the authorities understood".

In a statement released on Thursday, UK Athletics explained: "The Board does not expect to be able to make a public announcement of the outcome of its POG findings until after the World Athletics Championships in Beijing.

"However, with reference to the first and most vital objective of the review, the Board can confirm that none of the extensive information supplied to the POG contained any evidence of impropriety on the part of Mo Farah, nor gave UK Athletics any reason to question the appropriateness of the input given by the Oregon Project to Mo Farah's training regime."
