Liverpool Goalkeeper Pepe Reina Joins Bayern Munich

31 year-old Spain international Jose Manuel Pepe Reina completed medicals at the Allianz Arena and signed a £2million contract with the Bundesliga champions.

Liverpool agreed to sell the out-of-favour goalkeeper who spent the rest of last season at Napoli.

After joining Anfield in 2006 from Villareal, Reina led the reds team to the Champions League final, he will now have to battle with the World's best goalkeeper Manuel Neuer for a starting place in the Bayern team.

He has been handed jersey number 23 on a three year contract.
