Figure out how much capital you will need to get started. It could range from a N10,000 to buy supplies and print flyers for a small business to N100,000 for a web / tech-based company.

Work with a mentor

Pair your enthusiasm, energy and great ideas with sound business practices. Seek a mentor someone with more business experience than you — who can help you learn about running a business and make smarter choices.

Use your network

Tell everyone you know about your business. You'll get word-of-mouth advertising, and you may get support, such as business advice from experienced entrepreneurs, financial investment or volunteer services and sales.
