Kogi Goes Tough On Student Cultism, Violence

Cultism related deaths have been on the increase in Nigerian campuses

Kogi State government has warned students of the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, to desist from cultism, violence and other anti-social activities or be ready to face the law.

Governor Idris Wada gave the stern warning while inaugurating three blocks of hostels built by his government in the institution.

Wada says his government would take stiff measures to combat student criminals to continue in their crimes.

The governor recalled the recent murder of the institution by suspected cultists and stated his government's resolve to tackle the menace of cultism.
