Nigerian defender celebrates son's birthday

Nigerian international Taye Taiwo is a proud dad as his son turned a year older, Tuesday, April 28.

The former Olympique de Marseille left back took to his Instagram to celebrate his son with sweet words.

"The almighty sent me a gift once. A gift filled with love 'joy and happiness. That gift is everything to me. That gift is you . Every single day since you were born' you've added something amazing to my life. I can't imagine my life without you in it. happy birthday ' my beloved son! ," Taye Tiawa wrote alongside a photo of his kid.

This birthday shout came following the news that his Turkish club  Bursaspor has terminated his contract mutual consent.

Tiawo joined the club in July 2013 after playing for AC Milan, Queens Park Rangers and Dynamo Kiev.
