Super Eagles midfielder sends birthday shout-out to popular televangelist, T.B Joshua

Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi is a known ardent follower of popular Nigerian pastor and televangelist T.B Joshua.

The 22-year-old footballer took to his Instagram to wish the pastor a happy birthday as he turned 52 on Friday, 12.

"Happy birthday to you Daddy, you are a blessing to nigeria, Africa and the world entirely, we have nothing to give to you than to ask God to keep you younger every day," Onazi said on Instagram about the founder and spiritual leader of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN)

"May God continue using more than he has done in the years back. You are a blessing to my life. Thank you sir ."

Onazi's respect and love for the Ondo State preacher is not far-fetched.

The Lazio midfielder first football club was a club called 'My People' which is founded and funded by the televangelist.

He often wears a shirt under his jersey bearing the message 'Thank you T.B Joshua.'
